About Jennifer
Jennifer Vimbor, MS, RD, CDN is the founder of
Nutrition Counseling Services. The organization was
created in 2003 to promote optimal nutrition, health and
well-being.   

Jennifer received her
Master of Science Degree in
Nutrition Education
from Columbia University in New
York City. She is a
Registered Dietitian (RD), Licensed
Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN)and Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist
(CDN). Additionally, she is certified in food safety from the
National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation's
ServSafe® Program.

Currently on Registry at
Advocate Illinois Masonic
Medical Center
in Chicago, and previously a Clinical
Dietitian
at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan in New
York City, Jennifer incorporates current science with
nutrition concepts and education. She effectively conveys
this information at
Nutrition Counseling Services
according to the needs of the client.

As an avid runner and multi-marathoner, Jennifer has first-
hand knowledge of the nutritional needs of the athlete.   
She was the Nutritionist for the
 New York Runners Only
Club, has worked with the Chicago Areas Runners
Association (CARA), and advises numerous athletes privately,
including dancers, runners, triathletes, body builders, and
yoga instructors, on eating for success.

Jennifer has been seen on several local Chicago television
shows and was the Dietitian for
MSN/NBC's Biggest Loser
Milliion Pound Match-up Challange in Chicago.Additionally,
Jennifer has been
featured in well-known publications.
